Well Spotted

Ted and Ned (two pig farmers) were talking one day.
Ted said ‘do you give your piglets names?’
Yes I do said Ned. I have called one of my newest piglets: ‘obvious’.
That’s a strange name said Ted.
Yes .. It's because he's spotted and stands out a mile, said Ned.
Changing the subject, said Ned ..
What did you do with your spoilt crop of cabbages?
Oh I threw them away, said Ted.
What! said Ned. Did you not feed your pigs with them?
No, said Ted. I never thought too. Just didn't see it.
12 months later Ted saw Ned at the Abbatoir.
Here Ned, said Ted. How’s that spotted pig of yours getting along,
fattening up nicely? Not anymore, said Ned.
I’ve started the first step of getting him on peoples plates.
What you’ve .. at which point Ted moved the index finger
on his left hand across his throat?
Yep, he’s in the shed, said Ned. Ted went in to look.
Ted could not see the bespotted pig. Ted came out and said,
Where is he Ned? He’s in the far corner, plain as day, said Ned.
Ted and Ned then entered the shed and Ned pointed .. and there
in the far corner was a spotted pig with blood gushing
from his throat. Aint that f**king typical said Ned.
